Think Positive, Play, Feel Good!

We see physical activity as a practice that involves the physical body, mind and emotions, so we approach exercise with the intention of experiencing well-being, ridding ourselves of unwanted behaviors and letting the best in us surface.

The mind/body connection has been studied for a long time. Pure Joy builds on this and adds the heart connection. One of the keys to sticking to an exercise program is to love it. When you approach exercise, healthy eating, and healthy thinking as a self-love practice, you are opening your heart to receive what is good for you. You take charge of your life by loving and nurturing yourself. You take action out of self-love, not obligation. Your fitness practice becomes your daily kiss and hug to yourself. That’s my own experience.

Along with exercise, in our practice we use affirmations, visualizations, positive thinking, intention statements and meditation. We deeply believe that everybody can achieve their goals if they first see them in their minds and feel them in their bodies.
